Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  1. 300 gramsfreshly cooked rice
  2. 2 tablespoonssesame oil
  3. 3whole eggs
  4. 1 1/2 teaspoonscornstarch
  5. 3 tablespoonswater
  6. 1 pinch(about 3 shakes) salt and pepper
  7. 1/3 stalkgreen onion
  8. 120 gramsimitation crab
  9. 200 grams★water
  10. 1 tablespoon★sake
  11. 1 teaspoon★soy sauce
  12. 1 1/2 teaspoons★chicken bouillon granules
  13. 1/2 teaspoon★oyster sauce
  14. 1 tablespooncornstarch, 2 tablespoons water △cornstarch slurry
  15. 1 teaspoon△grated ginger
  16. 1 teaspoon△sesame oil

Steps

    Tear half of the imitation crab into pieces and set aside the other half for topping. Slice the green onion into rings and grate the ginger.

    Set aside a little green onion for topping.

  3. 3

    If the smell of the green onion in the egg mixture bothers you, place it in a microwave-safe container, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 1 minute.

    In a bowl, combine the eggs, cornstarch, water, salt, and pepper from the . Mix well with chopsticks, then add the shredded imitation crab and the green onion from step 3, and mix well.

    In a pot, bring the ★ ingredients to a boil, then turn off the heat. While stirring the pot, add the △ cornstarch slurry and heat again.

    Once it thickens, add the △ ginger and sesame oil, mix well, and turn off the heat. The sauce is ready! Reheat it just before pouring over the eggs!

    Before adding the egg mixture to the frying pan, serve the freshly cooked rice on a plate.

    Heat 2 tablespoons of sesame oil in a frying pan, pour in the egg mixture from step 4, and when it becomes half-cooked, slide it onto the rice from step 7.

    Pour the sauce from step 6 over the top, add the reserved imitation crab and green onion from step 1, and it's done!
