Boil the aburaage (fried tofu pouch) in water to remove excess oil.

Rinse the aburaage with hot water using a strainer.

Combine the broth ingredients in a pot and simmer.

Let the aburaage cool to finish the kitsune topping.

Heat the broth mixture.

Cook the noodles according to package instructions.

Place the noodles in bowls.

Top with narutomaki, chopped green onions, and the kitsune (fried tofu).
