A recipe that tastes like Manchurian and Pakodas but very healthy. This recipe is loaded with vegetables and has the use of minimum oil. No maida Or cornflour.
But tastes YUMMY.

A recipe that tastes like Manchurian and Pakodas but very healthy. This recipe is loaded with vegetables and has the use of minimum oil. No maida Or cornflour.

Steps

First chop the carrots, cabbage, capsicum, onions and potatoes into Julienne cuts.,as finely as possible.(This takes most of the prep. time). Also chop coriander and green chillies finely. Keep the besan and rice flours ready. Also keep the dry masalas ready.

With all the ingredients ready, mix all vegetables, flours and masalas.

Mix well. Add in 1/2 cup water and mix. Add more water if dry and more flours if loose. Do not add excess quantity of flours, else pancakes will not be crispy.
Note to use the batter immediately. - 4
Mix and set a thick but moist batter consistency.
Heat a mini uttapa tawa and brush little oil in all the cavities. Place batter and tap and shape properly using a spoon. - 5
Roast on medium flame. Brush a little oil on top side, when it's a bit dry. Turn and cook the other side until crispy. Brush very little oil and flip over until the base is crispy. Press a bit to roast the ingredients well.

Sprinkle chat masala on top and serve hot.
I have served with kabab chutney.
Can be served with schezwan chutney or ketchup too. - 7
