In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, egg, sugar, heavy cream, salt, and cornstarch.

Beat with a whisk on medium-high speed until smooth and creamy.

Add the grated Pecorino cheese and mix well to combine.

Line an 7-inch (18 cm) cake pan with dampened parchment paper. Pour the cheesecake mixture into the pan. Slice the fig or breva and arrange the slices on top for decoration.

Preheat the oven to 430°F (220°C) and bake for 15 minutes.

Let cool, then refrigerate for a few hours before serving for best flavor.
