Ingredients

10 servings
  1. Pork Shoulder (Boneless is Easier)
  2. Adobo Seasoning
  3. Black Pepper
  4. Salt
  5. Sazon (cilantro con achiote)
  6. Slow Cooker

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Turn your Slow Cooker on Lo.

  2. 2

Rub your Pork Shoulder with all of the spices. I don't have exact measurements, more of like just eyeball it. I like a lot of seaaoning.

  3. 3

Put the lid on and cook on Lo for 8 hrs. Don't add anything else.

  4. 4

Remove lid use a fork to gently pull apart the pork. It will mostly shred on it's own. You can drain the excess juice if you want. And when making tacos I heat a little oil in a frying pan on medium high and put a serving of the shredded pork in there just to crispen it up a little bit. Also these Carnitas left overs (if you have some) make fantastic nachos the next day. Just Saying!

I enjoy making food that is flavorful & family oriented. I have a large family so most of the food I prepare is fun and enjoyable for all ages :) My husband is from Honduras so I incorporate a lot of Hispanic food in my recipes :)
