Egg delight (Dessert)

Egg delight is actually called egg halva in India. It is a sweet dish prepared during festivals. My father loves to eat this dessert. Its his favourite! I guess, I ate this just once when I was a little kid. I liked it! So, I decided to recreate this dessert in my own style.

Egg delight is actually called egg halva in India. It is a sweet dish prepared during festivals. My father loves to eat this dessert. Its his favourite! I guess, I ate this just once when I was a little kid. I liked it! So, I decided to recreate this dessert in my own style.
Steps

Pour 500ml milk into a heavy bottom pan. Boil it on medium flame untill it reduces to 250 ml.

Add condensed milk to the pan and mix well with the reduced milk. Taste the sweetness amd if required, add sugar or more sweetened condensed milk.

Beat 2 eggs in a bowl and add it to the pan and mix well with the milk mixture.

Let it cook together untill the mixture becomes dry. (Do not let it become too dry!) You can keep it little wet if you want.

When the mixture is dry, add 1 tsp unsalted butter or ghee.

Add lightly roasted 8-10 cashews which are split into half and mix well.

The dessert is ready. Take it out in a bowl and garnish with cashews. Serve it hot or cold.
