Protein-rich Moong Dal Curry
This is my usual quick dinner curry with fulka.
Steps

Chop onion and garlic. Take a cooker pan. Add oil, once oil is hot, add mustard, Asafoetida and split green chilli. Add finely chopped onion. Cook on low flame.

While onion is cooking, chop tomato. Add chopped tomato in the pan. Add other masalas with salt. Mix it well and continue to cook on low flame. Add washed moong dal.

Cover the cooker lid and give 3 whistles. Open when it is cool and garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.

Tip - As I had time to soak daal, I soaked it. This recipe works very good even if daal is not soaked. Just wash it and add in the cooker. Instead of 3 whistles, give 4. Enjoy 😍
