Ingredients

35 minutes
2 persons
  • 1/2 cuptapioca flour
  • 1/2 cuplittle millet (sama) flour
  • 1/2 cupcurd
  • 1 tspgreen chilli paste
  • 1 tspfruit salt
  • Salt to taste
  • For tampering:
  • 1 tbspground nut oil
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 sprigcurry leaves

Steps

35 minutes
  1. 1

    Add both flour in a bowl, add half cup curd and about half cup water and mix well. Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.

    After 15 minutes add chilli paste and salt, mix well, if needed add little water.

    Prepare steamer and turn on the heat, once it becomes hot and water nears to boil, add fruit salt and mix well.

    Transfer immediately this mixture to greased plate and keep this plate into steamer. Cover and let it cook for 10-15 minutes.

    After 10-12 minutes check dhokla with knife. Then remove the plate from the steamer.

    Heat the oil for tempering and prepare temper and pour it over the dhokla.

    Cut it into desrired shape and serve hot.
