Don’t throw those stalks of seasonal Gobhi/cauliflower, instead make this side dish for rice/chapati.

Soak chana dal for 5/6 hours. Chop the sticks and coconut finely.

Boil/pressure cook soaked chana dal and chopped danthal and coconut until soft. Crush garlic and red chilli.

Heat mustard oil, crackle cumin seeds, followed with crushed garlic and red chilli.

Mix the boiled dal and greens, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder. Let everything get cooked in medium heat for sometime.

Finish off with chat powder.
