Ingredients

  1. 1 bunchspinach
  2. 1 bowltuwar dal
  3. 1/2 bowlchana dal
  4. 2 tablespoonpeanuts
  5. 1medium tomato
  6. 3-4curry leaves
  7. 2dry red chilli
  8. 2-3green chillies
  9. 1 inchginger
  10. 1 tablespooncumin-coriander powder each
  11. 2 tablespoonoil
  12. 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  13. 1 pinchasafoetida
  14. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  15. 1 tablespoongaram masala/ goda masala

Cooking Instructions

    Take tuwar and chana dal,wash it then add peanuts and take 3 whistles

    Now in a pan add oil,when heated add mustard seeds when splutter add asafoetida, ginger - green chilli paste and saute,then add tomato and saute again.Then add dry masale

    Now add washed and cut spinach and let it cook

  4. 4

    Now take the dals out from.cooker,mash it a bit and mix well.

  5. 5

    Now add this mixture to the pan where spinach is added,mix well,add water to adjust consistency.

    Now in a separate small tadka pan prepare a tadka,use red chilli and put this tadka on spinach -dal bhaji.
