Persimmon with tofu dressing(Shira-ae)

Shira-ae is Japanese sarad.
“Shira(shiro)“ means white and “Ae“ means mix in Japanese.
Just make the dressing.

Steps

Grind the sesame seeds finely in a mortar and add the tofu.
Grind the tofu in a mortar until smooth with the sesame seeds, and season with white miso paste soy sauce and salt.
If you do not have a mortar, use a potato masher or blender to make it smooth. - 2
Peel and cut the persimmons into desired size and serve in bowls.

Drizzle the persimmon with the tofu dressing, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.

*How to cut persimmons without hitting the persimmon seeds.
When you peel a persimmon, you will see a brown streak like a cross on the top, so if you cut along this line, you can almost cut it without hitting the seeds.

Hopefully, up to eight equal parts can be cut without hitting the seed.

If there is any tofu dressing left over, you can combine it with sliced cucumber to make a cucumber tofu dressing.
