Ingredients

30 minutes
2 people
  • 2large Brown Onions
  • 2 tbsp.Olive Oil
  • 2 small pinches Sea Salt
  • 60 turns of the grinder Plastic tub Black Peppercorns
  • 250g frozen Beef Mince or Fridge Beef Mince
  • 400g tin Italian Plum Tomatoes, or 2 tins of UK ones
  • 250ml cold water
  • 250g Dried Conchiglie Pasta
  • 50g block of a block of Parmesan Cheese

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Place 2 tablespoons Olive Oil in a large frying pan and then peel the raw Onions, wash in just cold water and then chop the raw onions on a Wooden or thin Plastic Chopping Board and then gently shallow fry the onions for 10 minutes. Season with Salt and Black Pepper or grounded down Black Peppercorns

    Boil cold tap water in a medium sized saucepan and then place the 250g Dried Conchiglie Pasta into the boiling water and then continue too boil on the highest hob heat for 15 minutes and then turn the hob off, just allow the cooked Pasta too rest in the hot water until their is only 5 minutes left of cooking time

    Add the Beef Mince too the seasoned cooked onions and then shallow fry along with the cooked fried onions for a further 10 minutes on the highest hob heat - keep stirring with a Wooden Spoon

  4. 4

    Add the whole tin of Plum Tomatoes and rinse the empty tin out with 250ml cold tap water and then continue too further cook in the Frying Pan for 10 minutes mainly on the lowest hob heat. Do add the cooked Conchiglie Pasta just before the end of cooking time and use a Potato Peeler too peel thin pieces of Parmesan Cheese over the top of the completed meal
