In Maharashtrian thali there is one liquid gravy , one dry vegetable and some chutney, raita or any sweet is available in plate with chapati, roti or bhakri. Today we are going to prepare wallach birde which is famous liquid gravy with chapati and kothinbir vadi, and methi besan.

First of all take soaked wal beans remove the upper skin and again wash it. Now take a vessel keep on medium flame now add oil in it and make a tadka with jeera and mustard seeds now add chopped onion and stir it till onion become transparent. Then add Chopped tomato.

Simultaneously add Kanha lesson masala,salt, ginger garlic paste in it mix it well then add sokad wal beans and mix it well now at water. We are preparing liquid gravy so add two glass of water and keep it on medium flame for next 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes check wal beans is cooked or not. Then add chopped coriander. Service liquid gravy with dry vegetable chapati and any other chutney or sweet.
