First take a big vessel in which we prepared biryani. In this vessel add soaked rice,water,salt,bay leaf,cumin seeds,cardamom,cinnamon, slit green chillies 1 tbsp oil. Stir,cover and let it cook about 70 percent done.
When the rice had done drain the water,pour cold water on the rice to stop the cooking process, then strain and keep them in the strainer. - 2
Mean while in another pan add 1 cup water boil it and add the green peas in hot water. Let's it boil for 2 minute then strain it.
Peel and Sliced the onion and chopped the tomatoes finely. - 3
Take the same vessel in which rice had boiled add oil and when oil is heated add whole spices,saute 30 seconds then add onion sliced. Saute 1 minute or until the onion turns light brown. Now add ginger garlic paste and crushed green chillies. Cook for 40 seconds.

Add tomatoes,coarsely ground coriander seeds and fennel seeds,add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red Chilli powder and salt. Mix well and cook for 1 minute on high flame then cover and cook for 3-4 minutes on medium flame or until the tomatoes turn soft.

When tomatoes turn soft and gravy cook well turn the flame low,add curd mix and cook for one minute, add green peas then mix very well.

Cover and Cook the green peas with gravy for 4-5 minutes. Meanwhile we take 2tbsp water in a bowl add orange food colour and mix.keep aside.
Check the peas it cooked well and the oil has separated. - 7
Now add boiled rice, add food colour and half part of fried onion. mix very gently.

Finally, on the top add coriander coriander leaves,remaining fried onion and kewra water.cover and cook on simmer for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes switch off the flame. The super delicious green peas biryani is ready. Dish out and served with any of your favorite raita and salad.
