To kick off #January2026, I created an assorted box of decorated brownies to offer something for everyone and maybe more as a creative outlet 😂. Topped with butterscotch and white pearls for what I view as an elegant touch, glammed-up Oreos with gold dust to signify bold, and ganache and chocolate sprinkles for fun and simplicity. They are the perfect sweet treat to brighten the new year, and every bite is a little ‘not so secret’ surprise.

Light Butterscotch
Ganache
1/4 ccream
70 gmelted chocolate
Extra decorations (optional)
White round sprinkles
4oreos
Gold dust
Chocolate sprinkles

Gather decorating ingredients

Use a spoon or piping bag to drizzle butterscotch evenly on 2 brownies. Adjust based on how much coverage you prefer

To make the ganache, heat the cream over medium-low heat until it just starts to simmer (NOT boil). Pour it over the chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then mix until smooth and glossy

Cool the ganache for a few minutes to thicken slightly before pouring or spreading it over the 4 remaining brownies

Add extra decorations if you like. I went with white pearls on the butterscotch-topped brownies, crushed Oreos and whole Oreos (plus a touch of gold dust) on the 2 middle brownies, and chocolate sprinkles on the last 2. Box them up, and they’re ready to go 😋
