  • 2 tbspoil
  • 2 tbspbutter
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 2chopped onion
  • 1green capsicum
  • 1 tspginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsppav bhaji masala powder
  • 1 tbspkashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 tbspcoriander powder
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 2tomatoes puree
  • 1 cupchopped vegetables like carrot, beetroot, fresh peas, potato, cauliflower
  • 1 tbspkasuri methi
  • 1 tbspsalt

    Heat the cooker, add butter and oil, fry the cumin seeds, add chopped onion and chopped capsicum and fry well.

    Once the onion is well fried, add ginger garlic paste, pav bhaji masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder and fry well...

    Once the spices are well roasted, add the tomato puree and vegetables and saute well. I have added beetroot only for color...

    Once the vegetables are lightly fried, add the kasuri methi, add required amount of salt and fry well.

    Add the required amount of water, close the cooker and let it cook for five whistles. Once it is well cooked, mash it well...

    If the masala is thick, add a little water and boil it on medium heat for five minutes, then the pav bhaji will be ready immediately.

    In a pan, heat a little butter, add a teaspoon of pav bhaji masala, a little chopped coriander, mix well, cut the pav in half and rub it in. The pav bhaji is ready.
