A simple yet a flavourful dish made with boneless Chicken cubes and Kaffir Lime. This is such a delightful bliss. You would love the aroma and the flavour of the dish. Kaffir Lime has a complex flavour profile with the notes of Citrus and floral and earthy which makes this dish stand apart. The Leaves of Kaffir Lime are used in many dishes in Southeast Asia including Soups, Salads, Curries and Gravies.
While both Lemon and Kaffir Lime are Citrus Fruits, the key difference between them is that while Kaffir Lime Leaves are used for flavour and aroma in the dishes, Lemon on the other hand is juicy and used mainly for it's juice and zest. The Fruit of Kaffir Lime itself is bitter in taste and only the Leaves are used in cooking. These Leaves are absolutely flavourful and refreshing. In this particular dish by me, I have used the fresh one's and it turned out super delicious. My family enjoyed the Dinner with a big smile on their faces indicating that they had thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Let's get started with the recipe guys.

Steps
- 1
Marinate the chicken with all the masalas and leave it for 20 minutes if you have enough time on hand. Otherwise you can proceed without the marination. Heat oil in a non-stick pan or wok and add the cumin seeds, bay leaves and finally the sliced onions, green chillies and curry leaves.
- 2
Also add the kaffir lime leaves which are the star attraction of this dish. Saute all of that for a while. After sauteeing for a few minutes, add the chicken and stir until well mixed on a high flame. Add all the powdered spices too as mentioned.
- 3
Keep the flame on a high for the next 3 to 4 minutes, making sure to keep stirring in between. Now lower the flame and cover it. It will be done in 20 minutes. No need of adding any water.
- 4
Garnish with coriander and garam masala. Serve hot with rice or puris or chapatis. Yum! Enjoy at Iftaar meals as an amazing appetizer or a starter. Serve it alongside yoghurt mint chutney. Or even with phulkas or parathas. Yum! Enjoy!
