Besan Baadam Barfi

Yesterday i quickly give a trial to this delicious burfi prepared with roasted gram flour and almonds, the outcome was a fantabulous,super soft burfi, we couldnt stop ourselves having them. If you are bored of usual sweets give a try to this irresistible burfis I ,am damn sure you guys will love it.

Yesterday i quickly give a trial to this delicious burfi prepared with roasted gram flour and almonds, the outcome was a fantabulous,super soft burfi, we couldnt stop ourselves having them. If you are bored of usual sweets give a try to this irresistible burfis I ,am damn sure you guys will love it.

Take ½ cup ghee and heat. Add semolina and roast till aromatic. Now add besan. Roast till fragrant and turns slightly brown.

Grind 1 cup baadam (almonds) and add to the besan mix. Add the left ghee to the mix and roast the mixture till ghee seperates. Let it cool down. (Stir continuously because the bottom of the vessel is still hot and it may birn the mix from bottom)

In another pan add sugar and water. Let the suger melt. Then add saffron and cardamom powder to the syrup. Make 1 thread consistency syrup.

Transfer this hot sugar syrup to the mix and cook the mixture slightly on gas stove, until all the mix starts accumulating together and starts thickening.

Immediately pour this mixture on a ghee smeared plate or cake tin. Garnish it with pistachios and let it cool to room temperature.

Cut into desired shape and size and store in a airtight container.
