A quick throw it together meal that can use up any cooking vegetable, chicken, or houmous that maybe sitting in the fridge.
Steps

Cook the broccoli in boiling water with a pinch of salt until it's cooked but still firm. Then drain and set aside until needed.

Cooked the pasta according to packet instructions. Drain and set aside once cooked.

In the meantime, heat the olive oil with the chorizo (2 minutes) and then fry the onions until soft (3-5 minutes). Then add the garlic and cook for another minute.

Add the mushroom slices and fry for another 6-10 minutes or until cooked.

Add in the broccoli and chicken. NOTE: For the chicken, I used pre-cooked chicken pieces that I had in the freezer and wanted to use up. One pack was sweet chilli chicken, and the second packet was mango and chilli flavoured chicken pieces. Any cooked chicken can be used.

Add in the pasta along with the olives and stir. Season with salt and pepper.

In a small bowl, stir the houmous with some cold water until it resembles a creamy, thick texture. Then, add to the pasta and stir until fully combined.

Plate the pasta and sprinkle some grated parmasan. Serve as it is, or with a side salad.
