For every 2 cups of dry mix. 4 tbsp melted butter or margarine 2 eggs and 2 cups of buttermilk (or substitute 2 tbsp white vinegar and remaining amount of milk to equal 2 cups)

Mix wet ingredients in a bowl

Add wet ingredients to bowl of dry mix and combine until blended but still pea sized lumps remain (about 10 seconds max)

Cook on griddle at medium low heat
