Ingredients

4-6 servings
  • 2 1/2 CupsAll Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 CupGranulated White Sugar
  • 1 TablespoonBaking Powder
  • 1 1/2 CupBlueberries
  • 2 CupsOf Buttermilk
  • 2 TeaspoonsSalt
  • 1/2 CupMelted Butter Melted & Cooled to Room Temp
  • 1 CupPowdered Sugar
  • 3 TablespoonsWhole Milk
  • 1 TeaspoonVanilla Extract

Steps

  1. 1

    Sift flour into a mixing bowl

  2. 2

    Add in Baking Powder, Salt & Sugar

  3. 3

    Whisk Dry ingredients together

  4. 4

    Create a well in the middle of the bowl & gradually add buttermilk

  5. 5

    Stir until combined WITHOUT over mixing

  6. 6

    Add in blueberries gently folding into dough

  7. 7

    Pour melted room temp butter into baking pan

  8. 8

    Add dough directly on top of melted butter & gently spread out

  9. 9

    Use a knife to cut the dough into 9 pieces

  10. 10

    Bake at 450 for 25-30 minutes

  11. 11

    For Glaze : combine powdered sugar, milk & vanilla extract

  12. 12

    Remove from oven & let cool for 5 minutes then drizzle glaze
