Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken cubes 1/2 kg
  • 11/4 cupRice
  • 2 cupsChicken broth
  • 2 tbspOil
  • 2-3Tomatoes, large, blended
  • 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  • Cloves3
  • Cinnamon stick 1
  • 4-5Green chillies
  • 6-8Garlic flakes
  • Ginger 1"piece
  • 3Green cardamoms
  • Salt to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Grind together ginger, garlic, chillies, cardamoms, cinnamon, cloves and cumin.

    Marinate chicken with above mixture and salt for 30 minutes.

    Heat oil in a pan.

    Add chicken along with it's marination.

    Cook for 5 minutes.

    Add in tomatoes and let it boil.

    When it boils,add in broth and rice.

    Cook till broth dries up.

    Put on dum for 10-15 minutes.

    Serve hot.
