Steps
- 1
Rinse the whole green moong beans thoroughly and soak them overnight. Drain and add to a blender jar with cilantro, ginger-garlic paste, yogurt, salt, and mixed spice blend. Blend into a smooth paste.
- 2
Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl, add semolina, and mix well. Set aside. Roughly chop all the vegetables and finely chop them using a chopper.
- 3
Grate the boiled potato and cheese. Heat butter in a pan.
- 4
Add corn and peas, sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add the remaining vegetables, potato, cheese, mayonnaise, basic spices, and mixed spice blend. Mix well and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- 5
Grease the waffle maker with butter. Pour the moong batter into the waffle maker and cook as per instructions. Prepare 6 waffles in this way.
- 6
Cut each waffle into four pieces. Place the prepared veggie stuffing on top of each piece.
- 7
Place another waffle piece on top and press gently to make bites. Prepare all the bites in the same way.
- 8
Garnish a plate with green chutney, tandoori mayonnaise, and tomato sauce. Arrange the waffle bites, cut cheese into flower shapes and place on top, then add a drop of tomato ketchup for garnish.
- 9
Enjoy these delicious and healthy waffle bites. You can also serve them as a starter at parties.
