Prepare the shrimp and broccoli:
If using fresh broccoli, cut into bite-sized florets. If using frozen, thaw first. Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. - 2
Cook the broccoli:
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli and stir-fry for 3–5 minutes, until tender but still bright green. Remove from the pan and set aside. - 3
Cook the shrimp:
In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil. Once hot, add the shrimp. Sauté for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside with the broccoli. - 4
Prepare the sauce:
Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. For a touch of sweetness, add honey or brown sugar if desired. Simmer for 1–2 minutes to blend flavors. - 5
Combine shrimp and broccoli:
Return the shrimp and broccoli to the pan with the sauce. Stir to coat evenly and cook for another 2–3 minutes to heat through and absorb the sauce.
