Peel the onions and make a shallow cut at the bottom with a knife, being careful not to cut all the way through.

Combine all the powdered spices in a small bowl and mix well.

Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Take each onion and gently fill it with the spice mixture using the handle of a spoon, making sure not to break the onion.

Place the stuffed onions in the skillet and sauté gently over medium heat for 2-4 minutes. Whisk the yogurt and add it to the pan, mixing well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes. The stuffed onions are ready.

Remove the onions and serve with your favorite roti or rice.
