Wah the Katla fish pieces.

Now smear the Katla fish pieces with salt turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, lemon juice and let it marinate for 1 hour.

Meanwhile take the masoor dal and grind it into a coarse powder and keep aside.

After 1 hour take the marinated Katla fish pieces and coat them with coarsely grounded masoor dal on both sides.

Now heat mustard oil in a kadai.

Once hot fry the prepared Katla fish pieces on both sides till they turn light golden brown in colour.

Once done remove from the kadai and serve hot with dal and steamed white rice.
