Ingredients

2 servings
  • 200 g(cut into long strips) Red snapper
  • 50 gBaking flour
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 1/2 tspOnion powder
  • 1/2 tspGarlic powder
  • 1/4 tspCumin
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric
  • 2Eggs
  • 60 gBread crumbs (panko style)
  • enough to cover the pan Oil for frying

Steps

    Mix flour with salt, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, and turmeric.

    Dredge fish strips in the spiced flour.

    Dip floured fish into beaten eggs.

    Coat with panko bread crumbs for a thick, crispy layer.

    Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

    Fry fish sticks until deep golden and crispy, turning as needed.

    Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Tips

For extra crunch, use panko bread crumbs and ensure the oil is hot enough before frying.
