  • 3/4 cupCurd (thick)
  • Water As needed for batter
  • ½–1 tspMoringa powder
  • 1/4 cupGrated carrot
  • 2 tbspChopped capsicum
  • 2 tbspSweet corn
  • 1 tsp (adjust)Ginger-green chilli paste
  • As neededSalt
  • 1/8 tspBaking soda
  • 1 tspOil (for batter + greasing moulds)
  • Pinchhing (Asafoetida)

Prep: 10 min, Cook: 10–12 min,Total: 20–22 min

    In a bowl mix rava + curd and form a smooth batter.

    Add moringa powder and let it rest 5 minutes.

    Now add carrot, capsicum, corn, ginger-chilli paste and salt.

    Adjust consistency (thick but pourable).

    Add baking soda + pinch of hing + 1 tsp oil and mix gently.

    Pour batter into greased idli moulds / silicone flower moulds.

    Steam for 10–12 minutes on medium flame until soft and fluffy.
