EASY!!! Slow Cooker Birra Tacos

Birria tacos recipe
This is everything you’ll need - 2
Cooking the Birria meat in slow cooker
Everything you’ll need :
- 1 lb or 1.5 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 packet birria season mix any brand
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups water - 3
Step 1 :
- cut meat in half (makes it quicker to cook)
- Cook both or one piece and you can freeze the other. (1 piece is enough for me and cam)
- Season with little salt and pepper on both sides - 4
Step 2 :
- Pan sear each sides till both are brown - 5
Step 3 :
- Cover meat in your birria seasoning mix - 6
Step 4 in slow cooker
- Add 4 cups beef broth
- Add 2 cups water
- Your meat and leftover seasoning
- Let cook on high for about 6 hours or till tender.
- After fully cook and tender take meat out and shred into pieces with two forks🍴add back into slow cooker and set on low setting. - 7
(In this picture I put in a vacuum sealed bag with the whole seasoning packet so I can freeze and cook later)

Making the tacos everything you’ll need :
- Small corn tortillas
- Diced onions
- Cilantro
- Mozzarella shredded cheese

Assembling the tacos
Step 1-5 :
1. On your griddle set to medium temp or hot pan.
2. dip corn tortilla in the birra soup and lay on pan flat cook for 3 minutes.
3. Flip tortilla and add : Mozzarella cheese, Diced onions and cilantro, add a spoon full of birria meat in each taco
4. after adding filling fold to a with a spatula cook for 2-3 minutes.
5. Flip taco and cook for another 2-3 minutes take off pan/griddle and enjoy!
Tips
Leftover meat can be saved and stored in the fridge or freezer. Heat up in microwave before adding to tacos
