Homemade Smothered Hamburger Patties
This is an easy and delicious meal that everyone is sure to love and enjoy. Its a good way to use up any leftover ground beef.

In a mixing bowl add ur meat and seasonings. Mix well. Form into patties bout 1/4-1/2 inch thick. Set aside.

In a large skillet add a little bit of oil. Fry the patties until they are cooked through and no longer pink (unless you like your patties a little pink inside) on medium heat. Remove patties to a plate and set aside.

To the same skillet add the sliced onion and mushrooms. Sauté til oniins are translucent and mushrooms are soft and cooked through. Add gravy mix and 1-2 cups of water. Stir til everything is combined and cook til sauce has thickened to desired consistency, if gets to thick add a little bit more water. Add cooked meat patties to gravy mixture and spoon sauce over patties.

Turn off heat and serve immediately while still hot.
Tips
I love serving this over mashed potatoes or buttered noodles. Plus any vegetable or salad pairs well as a side dish also.
