Mash the banana in a bowl until smooth.

Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix well.

Stir in the whole wheat flour and baking powder.

Gradually add the milk until you have a creamy batter.

Cook portions of the batter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat, browning both sides.

When finished, I sprinkled a little powdered sugar on top (it’s delicious) and served them with apple slices and a good cup of coffee.
