I saw these leopard pancakes and had to try them. They look impressive, but the technique is actually simple — and it really works!
With basic pancake batter and a little cocoa, you can create leopard patterns with three shades: one light and two darker cocoa layers. No special tools needed — just a bit of creativity.

Beat the eggs with sugar and salt.

Add milk and mix well.

Sift in flour and baking powder, mix until smooth.

Pour in boiling water while stirring.

Add vegetable oil and mix again.

Divide the batter: 1/3 remains light (no cocoa).

To the remaining batter, add 1/2 tbsp cocoa, mix well, and pour half into a piping bag.

To the leftover batter, add another 1/2 tbsp cocoa, mix well, and pour into a second piping bag.

Use the piping bags to draw leopard spots on the pan. Let the pattern set for 10–15 seconds, then pour the light batter over it.

Cook as usual on both sides until golden.

Soft, thin, and beautifully patterned — perfect for a cozy breakfast or weekend brunch.
