Hot Dish!

I foolishly posted on a Social Media a meme of "Catching a Minnesotan" with a Hot Dish under a tilted box, leaned on a stick. So my husband Chris demanded I make him Hot Dish. The dish of my forefathers. It turned out pretty good!

Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and lightly grease a 9x13" baking dish.
- 2
In a large skillet, sautee Garlic and Onion for 2-3 minutes then add ground beef and red pepper flakes, salt & pepper to taste.
- 3
As the beef browns, combine corn, peas, both condensed soups, milk, and half the cheese in a large bowl.
- 4
Mix the browned beef into the cream mixture and transfer to the prepared baking dish.
- 5
Top the dish with the remaining cheese, then the frozen tater tots.
- 6
Bake the dish for 35 minutes, and take the dish out to top the Tater Tots with Shredded Gruyere cheese, and cook for another 10 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
