A simple lassi is always welcoming in a humid,hot june and sometimes flavouring it with a seasonal fruit, it tastes even better. One such is the jamun( java plum) lassi. Here's a simple recipe.

A simple lassi is always welcoming in a humid,hot june and sometimes flavouring it with a seasonal fruit, it tastes even better. One such is the jamun( java plum) lassi. Here's a simple recipe.
Steps

Dice the jamun and remove the seeds.

In a blender add the diced jamun, rock salt, honey, and the chilled fresh thick curd.

Blend. I didn't smoothen it as I like some chunks in my lassi. You can blend to smooth puree too.

In a glass add ice cubes. I didn't added as the curd I used was chilled. Pour the lassi into the glass. Garnish it with mint leaf and enjoy.
