For me Egg Biryani is perfect for a lazy day or when some unexpected guest drops in. It is not a long process and has less ingredients and can be prepared in no time

For me Egg Biryani is perfect for a lazy day or when some unexpected guest drops in. It is not a long process and has less ingredients and can be prepared in no time

Fry Onion till brown add,ginger garlic paste and crushed green chillies.Now added grated carrot (Optional) Saute for about 2 mins.

Add turmeric,red chilli powder and garam Masala and sauté.Add salt and tomatoes.sauté till oil comes out from edges

Now add eggs cut in half and coriander leaves.Keep it aside.

For Rice,Heat Ghee in a Pan and fry thinly sliced onion till golden brown.Take out the fried onion from the Pan.

In the same pan add washed drained rice.Saute in a medium flame.Add salt,Clove and cardamom.

Once the rice pops out from the Pan pour the boiling water.Add lime juice and lid on.Rice gets cooked in 10 mins.

Now layer the rice with the Egg masala.sprinkle coriander leaves and fried onion in between.

Have it with Raita!!!
