  1. 2 cupsBasmathi rice - soaked
  2. 4Onion - sliced and deep fried
  3. 1Carrot - cut into thin long slices
  4. 5Beans - cut into pieces
  5. handfullGreen peas -a soaked
  6. 1Cauliflower - very small , cut into florets
  7. 2 /Bread croutonsfried bread bread pieces -of
  8. 1 tspnRed chilli powder -
  9. 1/2 tspnTurmeric powder -
  10. 1/2 tspnCoriander powder -
  11. 1 tspnCumin seeds -
  12. 4Cashewnut paste - tblpsn
  13. 2Yogurt - tblspn
  14. Oil
  15. Salt

    Heat oil in a pan,add cumin seeds and let it crackle.Add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,cashewnut paste and

    Yogurt.Saute for 2-3 mints.Add the vegetables and cook for 4-5 mints.Add the soaked rice.Mix well.Add 4 cups of hot water.

    Reduce the flame,cover and cook for 15 mints or till the water has dried up.Switch off the flame and let the rice rest for 10 mints.

  4. 4

    After 10 mints fluff it with a fork or spoon.Add bread croutons and fried onion.Serve hot.
