This is a very simple and quick recipe. It is a very common dish in konkani household.
Steps

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, turmeric powder, green chillies, cashew nuts and saute for 1 min.

Then add ivy gourd (cut as per your preference) to the above mixture and saute for 1 min then add water (2 to 3 tbsp), cover the lid and cook for 5 to 8 mins.

Once it is cooked add the grated coconut and mix. The dish is ready to serve.
