Ingredients

45 mins
  1. 1chopped onion
  2. 1 tbspMinced garlic
  3. 1 tspcumin
  4. 1 tsporegano
  5. 2 tbspchili powder. (can add up to 4, based on your taste! )
  6. 2 cupchicken broth
  7. 8 ozTomato sauce
  8. 1 tbsptomato paste
  9. olive oil

  1. 1

    Heat sauce pan on stove on medium. Drizzle olive oil as needed.

  2. 2

    Add onion. Sauté until soft and translucent. (About 3-5 minutes )

  3. 3

    Add minced garlic and seasonings. Sauté for about a minute longer.

  4. 4

    Add in chicken broth, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Mix well.

  5. 5

    When it comes to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until thickened.
