This is taking store bought to a different level. It makes them bakery like without making everything from scratch!
This is a weekly staple in my home.
Steps
- 1
Preheat your oven to 350 F
- 2
Get a 9x9 glass pan, or you can use a pie or round cake pan. Grease the pan lightly with butter.
- 3
Place cinnamon rolls in the dish, there are 5 cinnamon rolls. Set aside the icing it comes with.
- 4
Pour heavy whipping cream into the open spaces of the pan, just enough to surround each cinnamon roll.
- 5
After you have the nice steps completed, get your butter and melt it in the microwave for about 45-60 seconds. Once butter has melted, it is time to mix in your brown sugar and your vanilla into the melted butter. This will form a thick sticky paste. It should be easily pourable.
- 6
Take your brown sugar mixture and take a spoon or simply pour enough of the mixture on top of each cinnamon roll. It’s okay if you have extra of the mixture, just disperse it evenly until all is used up. This is going to create a caramel crunch.
- 7
Your oven should be preheated now, bake the cinnamon rolls for 25-27 minutes. Watch the last few minutes to make sure the caramel topping doesn’t burn.
- 8
Immediately after taking the cinnamon rolls out of oven, grab your icing cup that came with the cinnamon rolls, spread evenly onto each one.
- 9
Let cool for about 5 minutes, and enjoy. Don’t forget to grab yourself a glass of milk.
