Steps
- 1
First of all, wipe it with a clean cloth and fry it in a non-stick pan while stirring continuously for 3-4 minutes and after it cools down, grind it in a mixer and make flour.
- 2
Now add all the powdered spices, mashed boiled potatoes, green chili and coriander paste, mix and form a dough. If needed, add 3-4 tablespoons of water. After kneading, let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
- 3
Knead the dough until smooth. Heat oil in a pan. Form small balls of dough and press them with your hands or roll them with a rolling pin. Make small incisions with a fork. Make all the balls in the same way.
- 4
Fry all the mathris on medium flame, turning them a little at a time, till they turn golden and then take them out and let them cool.
- 5
Sabudana Mathri for fasting is ready. After it cools down, keep it in a box and enjoy it for a week.
