Ingredients

  1. 1big tin of tomato paste
  2. 5Pepper medium sized
  3. 2onion medium sized
  4. fried chicken
  5. 3Maggie (royco preferred)
  6. onga seasoning
  7. 5carrot small size
  8. 1cucumber
  9. Green beans
  10. 1 pinchsalt
  11. 2 cupsrice
  12. 2table spoon of crayfish
  13. 1 cupvegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

    Start by washing your carrots and green beans, cucumber then you cut the cucumber in round shapes using a knife and grate the carrots using a grater then for the pepper and onions you get a clean blender and blend the pepper and onions thereafter you get a clean pot and put on fire then you add water and add 2 cups of rice.

    You allow the rice to parboiled for 8minutes thereafter you get filter or sieve and wash the rice

    Then you put back the empty pot on fire and add 2 cups of vegetable oil and allow to hot

    As soon as the oil is hot you pour your blended pepper and onions and also the tomatoes paste and begin to stir, stir for 6minutes then you add 2table spoon of crayfish stir and pour one cup of water then you add 3cubes of Maggie (royco preferred) and add one sachet Onga seasoning and a pinch of salt then cover the pot and allow to boil

    As soon as it starts boiling you pour your rice and mix properly after 5 minutes you add your grated carrots and green beans and cover the pot till the water dried completely then your jollof rice is ready then you serve along side with the cucumber and fried chicken.
