Cover the pan and leave it on low heat.for about 15 minutes turning after some time.

Flip the ugali onto a plate and after it cools a bit cut it to the shape you desire or as common people do form it into cake.

Serve with chicken stew or beef stew or even sour milk (maziwa mala)
