Ingredients

1 hour
Lots
  • 250 gunsalted butter
  • 225 grolled oats (or even muesli)
  • Extra nuts, cashews, brasils, hazelnuts, macadamias, pecans
  • Dried fruit, raisins, goji berries, goldenberries, whatevs
  • Seeds if you wanna (chia seeds are fab)
  • 2 tablespoonsgolden syrup
  • 1 spoonhoney
  • Anything else you fancy in the jacks

Steps

    Melt the butter in a pan

  2. 2

    Mix in everything, stirring well

  3. 3

    Preheat the oven to 150°C

  4. 4

    Pour out the mixture onto a big baking tray lined with baking paper

  5. 5

    Pat down the jacks with a wooden spoon or something

  6. 6

    Leave them in the oven for 45 minutes, probably 30 minutes for fan ovens

  7. 7

    Take them out carefully and let them cool a bit

  8. 8

    Use a knife to cut them into portions

  9. 9

    Best kept in the fridge, they will keep good for 3 days
