Clean the chicken add chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmaric powder, chicken masala and keep for about 30 minutes for marination.

Add oil fry the onion till golden Brown, then remove them from oil.

Now drop that marinated chicken into that oil and keep it aside.

Take Rice in another vassel add whole garam masala, salt then allow it to cook.

When rice is half done strain it.

Cool the chicken add the pudina puddings and coriander leaves

Add half the boiled rice and layer by layer and cover the vassel with a lid. (don't allow pressure to go out) Reduce flame and cook for 40 mins.

Finally add lime juice mixed with turmaric powder or good colour (optional) through small holes made in the rice.

Serve with raita
