Nasi Goreng Teri (Anchovy Fried Rice)

I got some precious anchovies from Medan, very famous in Indonesia. I turn the anchovies into this savory fried rice. The color should be light brown, it looks a bit yellow here due to lighting.

Steps
- 1
Fry the anchovies until they turn golden brown, set aside.
- 2
Pour 2 tbsp oil into the wok. Use medium heat. Crack the eggs and stir until a bit set (not runny anymore).
- 3
Add crushed garlic and stir. Add peas and stir.
- 4
Add rice. Stir well. Add powdered broth, fried anchovies, sweet soy sauce. Stir until well combined.
- 5
I made this for my kids' lunch. This dish is best served warm, but it's still tasty when cold.
