Ingredients

5-7 people
  1. 500 gall purpose flour 
  2. 2 cupswater or as much as the batter takes 
  3. 3 cupsfresh, finely chopped fennel 
  4. 1/2 cupfinely chopped spearmint 
  5. 1/2 cupfinely chopped parsley 
  6. 4spring onions 
  7. 1 tspsalt 
  8. 1/2 tsppepper 
  9. 1 tspbaking powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until you have a well combined batter. 

  2. 2

    Leave it to rest for half an hour. 

  3. 3

    Fry spoonfuls of the batter in hot oil. 

  4. 4

    Turn the fritters so that they get golden brown on both sides. 

  5. 5

    Leave them to drain on paper towels.

  6. 6

    Serve them while hot.
