Ingredients

  1. 1medium size Bowl basmati rice
  2. 2-3medium size tomatoes
  3. Mustard seeds and cumin seeds each 1-1 tea spoon full
  4. Daalchini 2 inch piece
  5. 1Tejpatta
  6. 3-4cloves
  7. Ginger and garlic paste 2 tea spoon full
  8. 1chopped onion
  9. cut Green coriander leaves  as required
  10. 1 tea spoonSugar
  11. Biryani masala or garam masala 1 tea spoon full
  12. Red Chillies powder half tea spoon
  13. Turmeric powder half tea spoon
  14. Pepper powder about less than half tea spoon
  15. Any edible oil about 2 table spoon full
  16. Salt as per taste

Steps

  1. 1

    At first, put basmati rice after wash in a pan for 30 mints

  2. 2

    Then cook rice. Add 1 tea spoon ghee and salt as per taste while cooking rice.

  3. 3

    Cut the tomatoes and add 2 pinch of coriander leaves in it and get it in mixer or blender to make well crushed.

  4. 4

    Then, put a pan on gas on medium flame and add any edible oil in it about 2 table spoon full.

  5. 5

    After getting oil hot, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds in oil.

  6. 6

    Then add tejpatta, daalchini, cloves in oil.

  7. 7

    Add ginger and garlic paste in oil. Make it slightly brown.

  8. 8

    Add chopped onion n make it to slightly brown.

  9. 9

    Add biryani masala or garam masala in oil.

  10. 10

    Add tomatoes puree in pan.

  11. 11

    Add turmeric powder, sugar,salt in it.

    Add slight pepper powder in it.

    If you want more spicy, you can add half tea spoon full of red chillies powder in it too.

    Mix it well. And put a lid on the pan on low flame for 5 minutes.

    Open lid and mix it again. Put the lid again for 2-3 minutes untill quite oil gets separated from tomatoes mixture.

    Then open lid and add the cooked rice in it. Mix it well.

  17. 17

    Add cut coriander leaves in it and mix well.

  18. 18

    Put the lid on low flame for 5 minutes.

  19. 19

    Again mix it well.
