  • 2 cupBasmati rice
  • 1 - 1/2 cupChana dal
  • 1/2 cupUrad dal
  • 1/4 tspCumin seeds
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tbspcoriander leaves
  • as requiredWater

    Wash and soak rice and dal for 3 - 4 hours and grind to make smooth paste.

    The batter should be thick

  3. 3

    Now add the coriander leaves, cumin seeds and salt.

    Heat enough oil for deep frying.

  5. 5

    Now pour one spoon of batter in the oil and cook on medium flame till the color is light brown.

  6. 6

    Then turn it over another side and drain in paper napkin.

  7. 7

    Serve hot with tea.
