  • 1ripe plantain
  • Oil for frying
  • Fresh cheese or queso fresco for serving

Steps

  1. 1

    Mash 2 ripe plantains well.

    Peel the plantains and slice them lengthwise.

    Heat the oil.

    Carefully place the plantain in the hot oil and fry for about 2 minutes.

    Flip, remove from the oil, drain, and serve.
