Cooking Instructions
- 1
Unroll the pastry and place in front of you.
- 2
Score the pastry in half right down the middle then across with 2 lines so you have 6 areas equally spaced out. You should now have divided the pastry into 6 smaller squares.
- 3
Spread the pastry with the English mustard
- 4
With a sharp knife take the skin off each sausage and lay each sausage in a rectangle of pastry.
- 5
Cut through the score marks and then roll up each sausage in the pastry. Cut each one in half to make 12 sausage rolls.
- 6
Place on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
- 7
Bake for 25mins in oven at 180C

I don’t like store-bought Sausage Rolls. My husband’s mother taught me how to make Sausage Rolls using the store-bought Sausage Mince, but I don’t like the Sausage Mince. I use good quality thick Gourmet Sausages for a shortcut. Using store-bough Frozen Butter Puff Pastry, these Sausage Rolls are super easy to make, and they taste really good. Hiroko Liston -
